Broken Hearted
Thanks for the replies, It sort of confirmed the feeling I had, I am angry, but not really at the woman, I have done enough research and read enough from here, and have experienced first hand some things from the long term relationship, that I know it is because they are so embedded with lies and deciets and that out of fear of man, (NOT GOD) that they do what ever the organization tells them to do. I think I will write this woman, tell her while I know she was meaning to do good the impact it made on me and I might even witness to her myself. Not that it will do any good, but you never know.
As far as the relationship goes, It has been a long 3 1/2 years, and I know that it is not going to go anywhere because of the religion. When we got into the argument over the letter, he made a comment I was scared to talk to someone else in the organization and I plainly told him I am not scared of much, I tell my boss off at least once a week, and I have taken down tag numbers of drugh dealers by walking behind thier car when they lived across the street from me, I am not the one scared of men in an organization more than GOD, and through his actions and ways over the last 3 1/2 years if JW was the only choice left for me I would not choose to convert because of the deciets and half truths I have witnessed through him and what he has done and been through with the organization. He has been disfellowshiped for last year ( nothing to do with me) . Why do I stay with him, because I do love him, and with what I have been through with losing my daughter at least there is someone there for me the only way I can deal with for now. I can live in my fantasy world and pray that my angel daughter will visit him in his dreams and help in a way I have not been able to. I will say her death affected him in a way that i was surprised that it did.

Here is my post, I had a daughter that Passed away in september from complications to a double lung transplant. This weekend I got a letter in the mail from a local woman and in the letter was two watchtower tracts. I was appalled and wondered if this was habit, do people in the congregations actually go through the obits ( where she told me she found out about my daughter) and send these out? She made mention where she read my daughter was a member of Mulberry First Assembly and went on to list scriputres etc. First, the obit did not mention she was a member the funeral was just held there becasuse it was the biggest place to hold a large funeral ( over 400 people attended). I was on the phone at the time I read the letter with the guy from Mass. My reaction to the letter as you can guess was not accepted well from him and we got into an arguement about my feeling that this woman was capitalizing ( might not be right word but my feeling on it) and using my daughter to get service hours recorded for witnessing through a written letter. Another teacher I worked with ended up losing her husband thanksgiving day and when I was talking to our guidance counsler today she said she also just recieved a letter almost worded exactly like mine. Is this something that is done or just in our area of florida? I can't begin to explain the anger that welled up in me.

by Sparkplug inwell after going to bed early for it has been a long day i was awaken by my fourteen year old and she was crying for the vet just called and the puppy i got them two weeks ago just died.
the breeder was at an expo at city hall and they all gave me those "mom i am going to die if i don't have her" looks till i forked over money i did not have for this lil baby beagle.
we brought her home and i thought my she must be so tired for she slept a lot the first day.

I understand some of what you are going through. My Puppy died wednesday November 1. Not sure of what. My 17 year old came home from school and found her dead behind my computer chair. We had her for 2 1/2 years. She was a Maltese and got her from the SPCA. my children are crying they want another one also. I told them I did not think so, but have been looking, it got pretty lonely last week without her and that was the ex's week with the kids. I really can't afford the prices they ask for these dogs or others that I am intersted in.

I live 45 minutes from the mouse. Glad you enjoyed especially the nice weather, since it is very cold in Massachusetts right now. The jw guy I am dating long distnace lives in Mass trying to get him to come and enjoy some nice florida weather also. Can I ask how long it took to travel by train? I have thought about doing that myself.

New Law Passed -- Adultery will have a 1 year Prison Sentence
by Rabbit inhttp://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060901/od_nm/cambodia_adultery_dc_1
phnom penh (reuters) - cambodia's parliament passed a law friday which could send adulterers to jail for up to a year.
the vote prompted a walkout by opposition lawmakers who said the law carried echoes of the khmer rouge and the taliban in a country which should be tackling poverty and corruption instead of legislating about morality.

Believe it or not...a US congressman prposed a similar law just this year !
Discuss...should govt. pass laws to punish adultery ? Why ? Why not ?
Think there would be mahy of our congressman in jails then.

I have posted on this topic many times on this website.
Here is one of my post. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/8/114792/2010215/post.ashx#2010215
And about taking a child away, yes they do that, a friend of mine right now can not have visitation with his own child and breaks my heart because he is really not a pedofile.
I am also pasting a letter I sent the Governor of florida when they decided to not only post pictures and addresses of our sexual offenders but their cars and tags also. read letter to get my comments on that.
Governor Bush,

Post a picture of what you'd like Jesus to look like.
by JH inoften we see pictures in books or on the net or even in jw magazines of what jesus may have looked like.
i googled jesus and found these pictures of what he may have looked like.. here are a few pictures i saw that didn't match what i expected jesus to look like.
for me, jesus should like like this below .

Broken Hearted
With Jesus being born in the Middle East, I have always thought the pictures that we americans have viewed as Jesus was wrong, I think he would have been darker haired and eyed. I would not mind if he looked like Oded Fehr, since he was born in Israel

I am not sure there is a website. I am a teacher in florida. You might try putting the teacher's name into google, I did this with my own name last night and found my name listed in documents that were pertaining to the school, plus my picture that was on our school's website.
